It?s been created in partnership with younger residents of Kippax, who have spent months sketching and drawing their favourite parts of the village. Inside you?ll find 12 hand-drawn illustrations, capturing Kippax?s buildings, parks and landmarks. Calendars are available now at local outlets. | | 2025-10-04 Halloween Disco | There is a Halloween Disco at the Legion, Kippax on Saturday 1st November from 7pm till late. Entry is ?2. There are prizes for the best costumes. Adults and children welcome. | | 2025-10-03 Oktoberfest | Oktoberfest Funky Friday takes place at the White Swan in Kippax on 3rd October from 8pm. Karaoke starts at 8pm. | | 2025-10-01 Harvest Flower Festival | The Harvest Flower Festival takes place from 3rd to 5th October at Kippax Methodist Church. Opening times are Friday and Saturday from 10am to 3pm and on Sunday from noon to 3pm. | | 2025-09-29 Charity Race Night | There is a Charity Race Night at Kippax Welfare Sports and Social Club on Saturday 25th October. Entry is ?2, must be pre-booked. | | 2025-09-23 Spider Drive | Gracie, a year 11 student at Brigshaw, is heading to Kenya with other students next year to volunteer in local schools doing crafts, building, sports and many other things. As part of her fundraising, she is organising a Halloween themed spider drive (a twist on a traditional beetle drive) on 18th October at The Legion in Kippax. Every penny raised will go towards her trip and taking supplies with her for the children. | | 2025-09-21 Pantry Wins Grant | Kippax Community Pantry has been awarded ?3,000 by the Greggs Foundation Microgrants awards. | | 2025-09-19 Christmas Market | 4th Kippax Brownies and 2nd Kippax Rainbows are holding a Christmas Market at Kippax Methodist Church on Monday 24th November from 5pm to 7pm.
