2025-10-30  Hall of Fame Awards

Kippax Welfare?s Hall of Fame Awards takes place on Sunday 9th November at 3pm. Doors open at 2pm. A few tickets remain.

2025-10-25  Rapunzel

Kippax Amateur Operatic Society (KAOS) are performing Rapunzel at St Mary?s Church Hall, Kippax on 11th to 14th December. Tickets can be obtained from ticketsource.co.uk, searching for kaos productions . 

2025-10-24  Media Team Volunteer Wanted

RSPB Fairburn Ings and St Aidan's are looking for a volunteer to join the Aire Valley Social Media Team to spread the word of all the great work they do there. 

2025-10-23  Halloween Kids Party

There is a Halloween Kids Party at the Commercial Inn, Kippax on 30th October from 4pm to 6pm. Tickets are ?5 from the bar and include a drink, burger/hot dog and treats included in the price. There will be fancy dress, music and games. 

2025-10-22  The Snowman

Kippax Brass Band will be performing an accompaniment to the film The Snowman at St Wilfrid?s RC High School, Featherstone on Saturday 20th December at 2pm and 4pm. Tickets are ?8 from Eventbrite 

2025-10-21  Charity Race Night

There is a Charity Race Night at Kippax Welfare Sports and Social Club on Saturday 25th October. Tickets are ?4 for adults and ?2 for children. Doors open at 7pm and first race is 7.30pm. Call 07951 361340 for tickets or pay on the door. All money raised will help fund Seb, Thomas and Oliver?s trip to Kenya to volunteer to teach English and sports at a rural school.

There is a Knit and Natter at Kippax Methodist Church on Thursday 23rd October from 2pm to 4pm with tea/coffee and cake. Cost is ?2. Everyone is welcome

Kippax Dramatic Society present Season?s Greetings, an Alan Ayckbourn comedy, at St Mary?s Church Hall Kippax on 12th to 14th November at 7.30pm with a matinee on November 15th at 2.30pm . Tickets are ?9 with concessions at ?8. Call 07547863830 for tickets. 

2025-10-15  Brass Band Concert

Yorkshire Imperial Band will be performing at Kippax Band Social Club on 16th November. Concert starts at 7.30pm with the doors and bar opening from 6.30pm.
